Wyoming Possession Limits
Kansas does not have legal possession limits for marijuana because all marijuana possession is illegal.
- Possession of any amount of marijuana is illegal in Kansas.
- First-time possession is a misdemeanor: up to 6 months imprisonment and up to $1,000 fine.
- Possession of 450 grams or more creates presumption of intent to distribute: felony with 10 months probation to 42 months imprisonment and up to $100,000 fine.

- Paraphernalia possession for less than 5 plants is misdemeanor: up to 1 year imprisonment and up to $2,500 fine.
- Cultivation of 0-4 plants is misdemeanor; 5-49 plants is felony with increasing penalties.
- There is no medical marijuana program, so no legal possession exists for patients.
